個展「実在の証明？」（Gallery子の星、東京、2022）での写真/ the photo at the solo exhibition “Proof of Existence?”(Gallery Nenohoshi, Tokyo, 2022)
境界線が曖昧な人物のドローイングに、カーテン状の幕を被せて展示をした。
「腰巻き」をつけられて展示された事例が美術においていくつかある。それが客観的な判断だとすれば、「腰巻きをつけなければならない＝不適切な者」と判断される側にどう主観を取り戻せば良いかを考えたのが、この作品だ。
Covered with a curtain, drawings of figures with ambiguous boundaries were exhibited.
There have been several “undergarment incidents” in the fine arts, in which police are asked to cover a large part of a work with cloth when exhibiting it because it is inappropriate, such as a nude female painting or a nude male photograph. It is a very objective and othering judgment.
Miyabi’s work is an attempt to find a way to bring back subjectivity to those who are judged as “inappropriate.”
